Description/Abstract of your Event: 

Are cities the problem or solution to climate change, warming, sea-level rise and the displacement of communities? How do official climate change policies in our cities reflect existing economic and racial inequalities? What strategies are consistent with and at odds with climate justice? The panel of scholars and activists engaged in climate justice in the New York region and beyond will address these questions.
